Default Question about Blessed Signet.

Just a quickie, when it says "for each enchantment your are mantaining", does it mean ONLY the enchantments which take away 1 arrow of energy regen, or every enchantment?

From my experience, it only works on enchantments you're maintining, i.e. using an arrow of regen on.

Yep... Timed enchantments like vigorous spirit don't work, so the best you can do alone is maintain 5 enchantments while having peace and harmony on yourself with 15 energy gain from 5 enchantments maintained. If you have teamates with you (duh...), you can get them to use blood ritual (+3 regen temporarily, Necro skill) or Succor (+1 energy regen temporarily, monk skill) to get you up to 9 enchantments, overall, thats a crapload of lifebond .

Actually, it's quite possible to have a lot more enchantments running which require upkeep than you have pips of energy regen...and believe me when I say you'll have to figure it out for yourself it's not because of elitism or a grand secret conspiracy, but because getting it right is mainly a timing problem. Just look at a monk's many ways to get back energy, you don't even need a boost from your secondary.

Although, for the record, more energy rarely hurts

Well, I am quite insane, I must admit. I tried E/Mo, Ether Prodigy. 7 Life Bonds, then a Protective Bond. Worked horribly. :P By the time I was done casting, LOL.

I've tested Blessed Signet myself.

7 enchantments can be maintained, barely. (This is without Peace and Harmony, I also used a rod/icon combo that gave 40% divine spirit recharge improvement)

7 can be maintained as long as your divine favor is high enough to get the max 21 energy for blessed signet. No other skills required. It helps if you have balth's spirit on yourself and the other 6 are life bonds to feed you energy. Make sure balth's is one of the first 4, so if you do run out of energy it won't end.

I like to life bond 3-4 soft targets and keep life attunement/succor/holy veil on the healers to cover it, or just toss a life attunement on whoever needs it at the time. Obviously the 6 life bonds can give you more energy to work with, as long as you're getting attacked and not just nuked. Shield of regen is a nice elite to go along with the life bonding monk because it recharges faster than many of the other "uber" elites like mark of protection. Spell breaker would be my next choice.

Well, let's do the math. You can cast Blessed Signet once every 12 seconds. Over twelve seconds, one arrow of regen would equal 4 mana. If X = the number of enchantments you're maintaining, then:
Code:
X*3 = the amount of energy you get every 12 seconds
4*(4-X) = the amount of energy you lose every 12 seconds.
3X=-(16-4X) --> the amount of energy you lose is equal to the amount of energy you gain when you have X maintained enchantments
X=16
However, you can only gain about 26 energy max each time you use Blessed Signet.

Therefore, you can use as many enchantments as you want, as long as Blessed Signet gives you 3 energy for each enchantment, if you're casting Blessed Signet as much as possible (max 16 enchantments). So, if you want to use 5 enchantments, then all you need is enough Divine Favor for Blessed Signet to return 15 mana.
